Posted Tuesday, February 7th, 2012
Making the jump from Western Australian shores across to Sydney late in 2011, Alex’s aim to continue his developing passion for on-screen productions has been welcomed by the team at Playbig as he enthusiastically steps into the role of Production Assistant.
Alex has spent the last few years working in WA as a freelance production runner (among several other roles) on productions such as Cloudstreet, Drift and Mal.Com.
Amidst the larger projects, Alex continues to follow ambitious creative goals of his own, producing and directing his way around numerous successful short films. (NotArt: Brisbane International Film Fest, Stuffed: Winner ATOM ‘Best Film’ & WASA ‘Best Screenplay’, and Clever Cookie: Recipient of the national Raw Nerve grant)
Happy to accept the production assistant role at Playbig, Alex is eager to continue expanding his production experience and education with high hopes for the future.
Welcome on board.
Congratulations Brendan
